I haven't been to church in at least 2 years. I have asked god to forgive me, but I don't know if that's enough. If you die in mortal sin, you go to hell so I'm scared. I have prayed to God and hope he will have mercy upon me. I am supposed to get confirmed this fall. I feel I should go to confession first before I receive the Eucharist in holy communion.
